- 1/3 cup Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 14 oz cauliflower florets
- 2 Tbs garlic powder
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/3 cup oil
- oil for frying
- salt, pepper to taste
- In a Ziploc bag or bowl combine cauliflower florets, oil, cornstarch, and garlic powder. Season generously with a pinch of salt and pepper. Make sure everything is mixed properly. If you use a freezer bag, just shake it back and fourth.
- Next heat oil in a sauce pan and make sure it is really hot. Add covered cauliflower florets and deep fry them for around 4 minutes, until golden and lightly browned. Remove the florets from the oil and transfer to a frying pan.
- Now is time to add the sweet and sour sauce. Carefully mix everything and cook on medium heat for 1 minute more.
