Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 grams) Katiki cheese
- 2 tablespoons e.v. olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup 250 grams Greek fava (or hummus)
- 2-3 boiled eggs quartered
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives or a mix of green and black olives
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes or sliced tomatoes
- 5 oz (140 grams) yellow cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup nuts like almonds, walnuts, pistachios
- 2-3 roasted red bell peppers from a jar, sliced
- 2 pita bread sliced
- 8-12 breadsticks
- 1/4 cup anchovies omit those for a vegetarian platter
- Extra olive oil, dried oregano, and freshly grated black pepper for serving
- Optional: 1-2 tablespoons capers
Instructions
- Mix the katiki with the olive oil, the oregano, and the black pepper.
- Arrange everything on a platter and drizzle with e.v. olive oil. Sprinkle with dried oregano and black pepper.
- Serve with ouzo, tsipouro, or cold white wine.
- Eat!
